I started out working at a video production company. Clients would pay well to make something they were proud of, post it, and wait for it to grow the business. It almost never did. The video was good. There was just no plan behind it.
So I started helping with the marketing around the work: the message, the website, the follow-up, the campaigns. That turned out to be the part that actually moved the needle. Haven grew out of that realization. Great work only pays off when it sits inside a clear message and a system that keeps running.
Today we do all of it, websites, content, video, email, ads, but the principle has not changed. We lead with the message, then build everything else to carry it.
